eReflect – What’s the company like?
eReflect company profile, customer reviews and contact info
eReflect is focused on making e-learning solutions accessible to people of all ages.
Incorporated in 2008, the company has offices in Australia, the Philippines, and the United States, and a growing list of individual, nonprofit, educational, and corporate customers around the world. So, who are eReflect? What are their goals?
eReflect History and Goals
Personal motivation – The company got its start in 2006 when company founder Marc Slater turned an interest in his own self-improvement goals into the company’s flagship product, Ultimate Vocabulary. After researching existing computer-based education models and established teaching strategies, he combined his education in software engineering and communication tools with a vision for a new form of self-paced learning and a new kind of educational software, one that provides the key training users need through personalized instruction and a supportive, easy-to-use interface.
Scientific approach – Today, all of eReflect’s products are based on scientifically-proven principles of learning methodologies as well as the latest innovations in technology. A decade after Marc Slater dreamed of a better way to learn English vocabulary, the company’s goal continues to be the same: helping people to achieve their own dreams of a better professional and personal life by improving their skills in fast reading, vocabulary building, spelling, and touch typing.
eReflect and Online Education
Mission – One of the company’s core missions is to help the growing Educational Technology movement by promoting literacy-supporting programs in classrooms to help prepare students for the future. Schools can start 9- and 10-year-old students on training that will make their later school years easier, and give them the foundation to build a career or go on to earn an advanced degree.
EDU programs – Several of their products have already been released in EDU format, using the latest in cloud-based computing and offering scalable administration options that let school districts and home-based tutors alike provide grade-specific instruction to their students.

The Benefits of Guided Learning
Instructions – eReflect focuses on individualized instructions. That means that each user gets direction and suggestions in real-time, as they work through the guided lesson plans. The Canberra based company also provides options to customize texts and exercises to fit the user’s current grade and skill level.
Progress management – This guided approach lets users maximize their progress while keeping the time spent to a minimum. Information and techniques that have been learned can be put in the “mastered” category and taken off the review list.
